Design leadership is my product
My practice spans design strategy, systems thinking, creative direction, and the full range from UX to visual craft.
The most important design work I've done isn't the kind that wins awards or fills a portfolio.
It's the internal platform that eliminated hours of daily friction. The design system that got a whole organization moving in the same direction. The product built from zero that people now can't imagine working without.
That's the work I'm drawn to — and the case I've spent the last several years making publicly.
At Tact.ai, I joined as the first design hire and helped transform a consumer field sales app into an enterprise-grade platform. Built the design team from the ground up. Figured out what it means to take something from nothing to something that actually scales.
At Capital One, I lead design programs in the Commercial Bank — spanning the associate-facing tools that power how bankers work, and the client-facing platform fundamentals that shape how clients experience us directly.
My approach is systems-oriented and strategic. I connect product vision to execution, align cross-functional teams around a shared direction, and raise the craft bar along the way. I move between UX and visual design, and between 30,000-foot strategy and the pixel-level detail that makes or breaks an experience.
I believe great design inside an organization matters as much as the design customers see.
Outside of work
You'll find me at a park with my husband, our son Ezra, and our Bernedoodle Latke. Cooking something that requires more steps than it should. Adding to a LEGO collection that has quietly crossed 60,000 pieces. Or doing what I consider the greatest immersive user experience ever built: Disneyland.
